The Dream and Reason for it all is to create everlasting impact; so the next visionary can follow my lead and eventually surpass it.

And repeat.

About Me

I am a creator of art because I believe art is the best form of self-expression. I continue to witness firsthand the injustices in our society and how we, as people, treat each other. As an award-winning filmmaker, writer, videographer, and Blacktivist, my work calls for immediate action and demands for undivided attention. And ultimately, my art strives to get the audience to question their actions, beliefs, and roles in all the debauchery. With an MFA in Film and Media Art from Emerson College and a BFA in Acting from Towson University, my art assembles a collection of stories from underrepresented groups fused with my own experience that often echo injustices on a global scale.

Challenging Society’s Norms

As an active seeker of the truth, my work consistently challenges society’s norms, political propaganda, and beauty standards. I have dedicated my life to being a voice and advocate for overlooked and often-forgotten communities. My art shifts between genres such as drama, horror, sci-fi, and romance. However, what remains consistent is the concept of Blackness at its core and how that is defined. My exploration of work focuses on those missing gaps in history, mixing narrative storytelling with experimental filmmaking techniques centered around characters that are seekers. Whether they are seeking justice of some kind, connection, love, or a better life, they are always on a journey that ultimately pushes them to evolve.
